Big Night for Harbin Lumber at the Athens Area Home Builders Association Meeting

The recently held 2019 Athens Area Home Builders Association (AAHBA) Officers Installation & Awards Celebration saw two Harbin team members receive big honors. JR Whitfield of Harbin Lumber of Athens will serve the AAHBA in 2019 as Vice-Chair of the Associates Council. In addition he was sworn in as a 2019 AAHBA Board of Directors member. JR has been a long-time member of the association and has served numerous years as golf committee chairman and on the associates council. Another Harbin Lumber team member also received recognition.  Todd Lord, Harbin Lumber of Athens General Manager, was presented with the AAHBA 2018 Henry E. Wages Associate Member of the Year Award.  This award was established in 1987 in memory of AAHBA devoted associate member Henry E. Wages of E & W Air Conditioning.   “This year’s winner of the Henry E. Wages Associate of the Year Award has been a dedicated member of our Association for many years,” said Stephanie Johnson, Executive Officer of AAHBA.  “Todd Lord has contributed much time and energy to the AAHBA and has proven to be a member we can always call upon. His contributions and service to not just this association but the building industry have positively affected many! He is most deserving of this honor, and we want to thank him for all of the time and support that he willingly gives to our Association.” Congratulations JR and Todd!  We are very proud of you both!  ...
