Congratulations to our STAR Employee for the month of August, Cody Sanders. Cody has been a part of the HLC family for a little over 3 years now working at the Eatonton Lumber Yard as a material handler. Working straight out of high school he decided to join the HLC family, thanks to his uncle, Michael Allen who referred him.

With his day-to-day operations including pulling orders and prepping loads to go out for delivery as well as maintaining orders and loading for walk in clients. Cody also preps orders to go out for delivery the next day while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse/ yard.

Cody is essential to the daily operations at the Eatonton Lumber Yard. He is a hard worker and is efficient in his daily job functions. According to Jody Page, the General Manager of the Eatonton Lumber Yard, “Cody is a very hard worker and will do whatever it takes to get the job done. He does whatever is asked of him without complaint or question. We truly appreciate his work ethic and all that his does for us here.”
” Cody is one of those employees that everyone wished they had. He is that employee that everyone goes to for help. He is our #1 go to person when you need that big framing package pulled in a hurry. He is always giving 100 % no matter if he is pulling loads to go out, restocking inventory, or organizing the yard to make things function better. Even when Cody is not at work, he still enjoys spending his time outside, but this time with his family. He has a 4-year-old son, Cayden with his better half, Marae. They also have 2 dogs, 1 hermit crab and 3 turtles. His family will go on long walks and enjoy kayaking on the weekends.
