Our STAR Employee for the month of April is someone who takes pride in his work. He likes to be behind the scenes and get the job done. Congratulations to our 2023 STAR EE, Chris Todd of the North Augusta Lumber Yard.
Chris has been an employee of Harbin Lumber Company since March 1, 2017 (this is when HLC bought the North Augusta location, formerly known as Adams Building Supply). Chris has worked in this same location since March of 1997 and has gone through 3 company name changes. During his tenure, Chris’ jobs have also changed, while his knowledge in this industry has increased.
Chris was originally hired as an ISS coordinator for HLC, but with his 26 years of experience, he has also maintained inventory levels, conducted inventory audits, handled receiving and distributed statements. Also known as the “fixer” at this HLC location, Chris will help in any way he can. Whether it is to correct tickets, locate missing products, or any general issues that may arise, he is always willing to help.

Chris is an active volunteer on the production team at TrueNorth Church (Stage Manager). He also enjoys traveling and going on cruises in his spare time.
