Women in Construction Week

March 5-11, 2023

This year marks the 25th annual celebration of Women in Construction week, recognizing women working in this predominantly male industry. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, “10.9 % of the construction industry employees – or about 1,285,000 workers – are women in 2022.”
This national celebrated week guided by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), dedicates the first full week of March to honor and promote the role of women in this industry. “This year’s theme, ‘Many Paths, One Mission’, celebrates the different journeys women have taken toward the same goal: strengthening and amplifying the success of women in the construction industry.” – Wicweek.org
