An employee is consistently building something for themselves every day when they are working with their hands. Joey Scott mentioned that this is a big reason why he enjoys working with Harbin Lumber. He can deliver quality products with his fingerprints and personal touch on them.
Joey, who currently is working in the Harbin Lumber Door Shop Exterior Department, started with Harbin Lumber in the Installed Services department. Before joining the HLC team, he built stairs & railing for another business in town. This previous experience has allowed Joey to truly exemplify great work ethic while knocking out daily challenges.
Door Shop General Manager, Eddie Wester, notes that Joey is an integral part at the Door Shop. “He is a hard worker and does anything he is asked to do and does it very well.” Eddie sees the pride Joey has in building door units and added, “he is also willing to help out wherever we need him and goes above and beyond to ensure the job is done correctly”.
Though Joey shows consistent hard work while on the job, he does take time to relax, while being with his wife of 10 years who doubles as his best friend. He also enjoys hiking and traveling with his five children.
His only downfall is choosing Georgia Tech as his college football team, but we can overlook that fact some 😁
