Larry is the Shipping Manager at our North Augusta Lumber Yard. Although he has been working in this position for 13 years, Larry believes there is always something new to learn. The industry will continue to evolve along with customers, and it is crucial to continue building knowledge and our relationships during this time. His new motto for the team at North Augusta is, “Striving to be #1 in Customer Service. We WILL go above and beyond.” According to the General Manager of the North Augusta Lumber Yard, JP Adams says , “Larry is a cornerstone of the North Augusta Location. His passion to provide unmatched customer service sets the pace for the North Augusta team.”
Prior to his time in the building material industry, he also worked on the other side as a consumer, framing houses for 22 years. This is where his passion for treating customers with unmatched service strives from. He can relate to our customers on a personal level and is “ALL IN” for customer service. Although his duties change daily depending on the circumstances, he ensures that orders are loaded securely with the correct products and are shipped out on a timely manner.

In addition to our STAR employee, Larry, we also have 3 of his 5 sons working at the North Augusta Lumber Yard. We see bright futures ahead for all of them as they continue to grow in this industry with the same work ethic of their father. Larry is also married to his beautiful wife, Jennifer, of 28 years together. Being a fourth-generation owned company, family is very important to us at Harbin Lumber Company. We value the roots of our legacy and believe family will always come first. We are grateful that the Jones family is also a part of our Harbin Lumber family.
